Lots of pics for this post...
First, despite the dreary, freezing cold weather (plus snow flurries), Easter was a beautiful celebration of the Resurrection! Allelulia, allelulia!

Sebastian still loves dinosaurs more than ever. This microscopic dinosaur is the latest arrival! He even gets to nap with our kid.

Buela was recently in town to help me out with the kids. While we were out shopping, she threw a couple of outfits in the cart. Here are the kids in the new Dora & Diego duds. Sebastian couldn't wait to wear his Diego shirt. He even wanted to wear it to bed! And that Karol... not only does she
look like Dora... she really likes Dora! She kept pointing to all of the little Doras on her shirt, saying, "Dor!"
(By the way, I did not prompt Sebastian to do the finger-pointing "hey"!)

And here's one with Sebastian getting his guns up! Once again, unprompted...
really.

And thanks to God, we have 26 newly Confirmed Catholics! I'm guessing this was my last dinner with Fr. Jim & Bishop Placido, so ghetto-Roni pulled out the camera to capture the memory! My time in youth ministry has been priceless!

We're looking forward to becoming Laredoans! (Is that what they're called?)

Hey Roni and Jorge,
We received your precious Christmas letter. We are so glad to hear from you. Your family is just gorgeous. Karol so cute, just like her mom. So is Sebastian, but Karol reminds me of little Roni.
We have been very busy. We went on vacation to Cabo San Lucas in late October. Went to see Tino in Florida Thanksgiving weekend. Purchased a new home 12/1/07. And spent Christmas in Taos N.M.
Last night we were too tired to go out. We went to church, out to dinner and got home to have a cup of coffee and watch some tv. Well we never drank that cup of coffee I was out five minutes after sitting down. We woke up at midnight and went to bed. It was a great, restful new years eve
Dana and Kim are doing great. They live together in an apartment inside the 610 loop here in Houston. They spend Christmas with us. Kim’s boyfriend of 6 years went with us. He’s part of the family.
Tino will be coming to Houston in May 2008. I spoke to him today and told him about your family picture and letter. He was happy to hear you are doing well.
How are your mom and Nessa?
Congrats on your graduate degree. You go girl!
Dana wanted me to tell you she went to TAMIU for a year her first year in college. Congratulations to Jorge on his position.
If you ever come to the Houston area, come see us.
I know I’m rambling but I have work to do and was so excited to get your Christmas letter, I just wanted to respond before I got too busy and forgot.
